An app concept that lets anyone support non-profit organisations with small, one-tap donations.
The idea
Small gestures make a big difference when we act together.
How it works
Most people don’t think twice about spending a small amount on an app, or on in-app purchases to earn points in a game. Help! applies the same mechanism to giving.
Users browse causes, organisations or regions of the world, find one that matters to them and donate a small amount with a single tap, through an in-app purchase. They can also see which causes their friends have supported, and join in.
Design
I wanted the app to feel familiar and effortless, close to a social network. The icon is a direct, empowering metaphor.
Everything is designed to make people feel part of something without doing much… or so they think!
